The building itself is the show, we barely went inside. Stood by the river taking it in for ages. Getting there is more of a trek than people let on, give yourself plenty of time back.
Kids loved the transporter bridge more than any museum, watching the gondola swing across the river. We stayed in Getxo the whole time and it was the right call for two under tens.
Turned up at the Guggenheim on a Monday not realising it was shut. Gutted. Salvaged the day with pintxos in the old town but check the opening days, we clearly didnt.
