Blue Ferry to Hamilton: ~20-35 min, ~$4.50 each way. The most scenic and cost-effective way to reach the capital.
Main Attractions
Horseshoe Bay Beach is the pink-sand classic: among the most photogenic beaches in the Atlantic. Hamilton offers good shopping, restaurants, and the harbor, while St. George's is a well-preserved UNESCO historic town.

A 2-night stay covers everything. Even a single long day (8+ hours) reaches Hamilton and one more destination.

Taxi fares in Bermuda are genuinely high. A round trip to Hamilton by taxi costs ~$90 for one or two people.

We returned them immediately. Ferry and bus for the rest of the stay. Please be honest with yourself about your scooter ability before you rent.
Two-day stay so we did Hamilton the first day and Horseshoe Bay the second. Ferry to Hamilton in the morning for Front Street and lunch at the yacht club restaurant. Bus to Horseshoe Bay on day two — 45 minutes but the route goes through lovely parishes. The beach is exactly as photogenic as every picture promises.
I had no idea taxis here were that expensive until the driver quoted us $45 to Hamilton and my husband and I both just stared at him. We took the ferry instead. $4.50 each, beautiful crossing, we arrived in a better mood and had $80 left over for lunch.
