Grenen's two-seas meeting point and the Skagen painters' town are the headline draws. Both are easy to do independently.
How Much Time You Need
4-5 hours covers town and Grenen. The short transfer to the tip is the main time cost.
Keep in Mind
Grenen is 7 km out, not walkable. Budget the taxi and Sandormen if the two-seas point is your goal.

Docked fine and the free shuttle dropped us in town, no bother there. The faff was Grenen, we underestimated how long the taxi out and the tractor bus to the tip would take, and were watching the clock coming back. Doable but tighter than I'd like.
walked into town, wandered the yellow streets and had smorrebrod by the harbour. didnt bother with grenen. sometimes a quiet pretty town is enough, you know?
Shared a taxi to Grenen, 180 kroner between four of us, then the Sandormen tractor thing for 40 each. Standing with one foot in each sea is genuinely cool. Whole excursion took about two hours door to door.
We took the Sandormen rather than trudge through the sand and it was the right call. The wind out there is something else though, hold onto your hat. Lovely, wild spot.
The kids loved the tractor bus more than the actual meeting of the seas, ha. Grenen is windy and open so bring jackets. We did the museum after to warm up, which the grown-ups enjoyed more.
