Main Attractions
Nyhavn, Tivoli, and the Little Mermaid are the classics. All sit within the compact centre and are easy to string together on foot.
How Much Time You Need
6-8 hours is ideal. That covers the transfer in plus the main central sights at a relaxed pace.

From Oceankaj, plan your transfer. It is 7-8 km out, so know your bus-and-metro route or shuttle before you disembark.

From Oceankaj we took bus 25 to Orientkaj then the M4, about 20 min and 24 kroner each. Got off at Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn was right there. Bought a City Pass on the app, used it all day, no stress.
Lovely flat city and the metro was spotless and easy. My only gripe, those bikes come at you fast and silent. Nearly got clipped stepping off a curb near the station. Watch the bike lanes.
just walked everywhere once we got into town. nyhavn, the shopping street, a canal boat. flat, easy, everyone speaks english. one of the simplest port days weve had.
