Tender or Docked?

Always docked, but your terminal decides your day. Big ships use Oceankaj, 7-8 km out; smaller ships get the near-central berths.

How to Get Into Town

Bus 25 or 164 + Metro M4: ~20-25 min, 24 DKK. From Oceankaj this drops you at Kongens Nytorv in the heart of the city.

Main Attractions

Nyhavn, Tivoli, and the Little Mermaid are the classics. All sit within the compact centre and are easy to string together on foot.

How Much Time You Need

6-8 hours is ideal. That covers the transfer in plus the main central sights at a relaxed pace.

Keep in Mind

From Oceankaj, plan your transfer. It is 7-8 km out, so know your bus-and-metro route or shuttle before you disembark.

Safety & Comfort

Very safe and extremely easy for first-timers. English is near-universal and transit is excellent.
