Docked right in the center at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal (Pier Head). Walk off and the waterfront attractions start within a few minutes.
How to Get Into Town
The city center is an 11-min flat walk, free. Albert Dock and the Beatles Story are about 10-15 minutes on foot.
Main Attractions
The Royal Albert Dock, the Beatles Story, and the Cavern Club are the headline draws. All are walkable from the ship.
How Much Time You Need
4-5 hours covers the waterfront comfortably. Add a couple more for a Beatles coach tour.
Keep in Mind
The best Beatles sites are spread out. The central museum is walkable, but Penny Lane and the homes need a tour or taxi.

Docked literally in the middle of the city. Walked off, five minutes later I'm looking at the Liver Buildings. Doesn't get much easier than that after some of the tender ports earlier in the trip.
Did the Magical Mystery coach because I really wanted to see Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, and honestly you need it, they're miles out. The Cavern in the afternoon was the highlight though, live music and a proper pint.
Lovely flat walking all along the front which suited us fine. We skipped the cathedral because it's a bit of a climb up from the centre and just enjoyed the docks. Plenty of benches and cafes.
just mooched around albert dock for a few hours. free museums, coffee by the water, watched the ferries. didnt spend much and had a nice relaxed day.
Took the two kids to the Beatles Story and they were more into it than I expected. Booked online the week before so we walked straight in. Quick lunch at the dock after and back on board easily.
