Tender or Docked?

Docked beside the city, a flat 20-minute walk from the centre. No tender, and a free shuttle covers the one farther berth.

How to Get Into Town

The centre is a free 20-minute flat walk. ARoS and Den Gamle By are a little further on foot or a short taxi.

Main Attractions

ARoS with its rainbow walkway and the Den Gamle By old town are the two highlights. Both are self-guided and walkable.

How Much Time You Need

4-5 hours covers the centre and one museum well. Doing both museums properly needs closer to a full day.

Keep in Mind

The best sights are a 2-2.5 km walk from the pier. Fine for most, but plan a taxi if that is a lot for you.

Safety & Comfort

One of the safest, easiest ports anywhere. English everywhere and almost no crime.

Tips from Cruisers

"One of the most effortless ports in northern Europe. No tender, no shuttle from our berth, just a 20 minute walk to the cathedral.…" — by Henrik J.
