We shared a taxi to Trafalgar Falls with another couple, $15 each, driver waited about an hour while we did the short trail and viewpoint. Back at the ship by 2 with loads of time. Easy and cheap compared to the ship excursion price.
Nobody told us about the site pass so we got to Trafalgar and had to pay $5 each at the gate. Glad we had US dollars in small bills on us. Falls were nice but the trail was slicker than I expected and I nearly went down twice.
We stayed in Roseau, walked to the Botanical Gardens to see that famous bus under the tree, then had a slow lunch on the bayfront. The mountain roads looked hairy and neither of us fancied it. No regrets, lovely relaxed morning.
I kept one eye on the clock the whole time inland. The road back from Titou Gorge felt long and it started pouring. We made it fine with an hour to spare but I wouldn't cut it closer than that on these roads.
did the champagne reef thing. black sand beach, warm bubbles coming up through the water, genuinely one of the coolest snorkels ive done. bit of a rocky walk in though, bring water shoes
