Tender or Docked?

Docked at Fort Hill Wharf on the waterfront, no tender. The city centre is a 15-minute walk or a short shuttle away.

How to Get Into Town

Walk to the city in ~15 min, free; the waterfront is at the wharf. A taxi is about AUD $8, and a hop-on bus stops at the pier.

Main Attractions

The Waterfront Precinct and a walkable city with WWII and croc attractions. Litchfield's waterfalls are the big day-trip draw.

How Much Time You Need

Half a day covers the city and waterfront. Litchfield needs the full call.

Keep in Mind

Do not swim in the open sea. Saltwater crocodiles and marine stingers make ocean swimming dangerous; use the netted lagoon instead.

Safety & Comfort

Very safe and easy on land; the real cautions are crocs, stingers, and heat.
