Tender or Docked?

Docked at Tien Sa, a working cargo port with nothing at the gate. A free shuttle takes you to the port entrance to find transport.

How to Get Into Town

Grab to central Da Nang: 15-20 min, often under 150,000 VND. A round-trip car to Hoi An runs about $50-65.

Main Attractions

Hoi An's ancient town is the headline DIY trip. The Marble Mountains, Lady Buddha, and Ba Na Hills fill out the choices.

How Much Time You Need

A standard call covers Hoi An comfortably. Ba Na Hills needs most of the day and a lot of driving.

Keep in Mind

Use Grab and catch it from the port gate. Pier taxis mark up fares, and Grab is the cheap, transparent fix.

Safety & Comfort

Generally safe and easy with Grab. The main hazards are traffic and pier-taxi overcharging, not crime.

Tips from Cruisers
