didnt do much research, just took the shuttle and wandered up into the old town. narrow streets, a big cathedral, ended up in a little square with a beer. pretty relaxed port.
The upper town is a proper climb and the cobbles are hard work. We taxied to the top and worked our way down instead which saved our legs. The sea view from the balcony at the end is lovely.
We tried the Barcelona train and honestly it stressed us out the whole time. Lovely city but we were clock-watching from the moment we arrived and barely saw anything. Wish wed just stayed in Tarragona.
