Tender or Docked?

Docked at the DP World terminal, about 3 km from town. You walk off into the terminal, where a shuttle, bus 30, and taxis wait outside.

How to Get Into Town

Shuttle or bus 30 to the old town, about 10-15 min. The public bus runs right from the terminal for around €1.50; the cruise shuttle drops you at the Old Port.

Main Attractions

Old town and seafront up close, Kourion and Paphos further out. Cyprus rewards picking one direction rather than chasing all of it.

How Much Time You Need

A full day if you head out; half a day for the town. The old town is quick, but Kourion, Paphos, or Troodos each need most of your window.

Keep in Mind

The best-known sights are far from the port. Kourion, Paphos, and Troodos each need a taxi, a sparse bus, or a tour, so plan before you disembark.

Safety & Comfort

Safe and easy for first-timers. English is common and crime against tourists is low; the main challenge is distance, not safety.

Tips from Cruisers

"We just did the old town and the seafront and it was a lovely easy day. Bus 30 right outside the terminal, couple of euros, done.…" — by Helen R.
