Usually docked at Botafoc, occasionally tendered on busy days. The old town is a short shuttle or a 15-40 minute harbour walk away.
How to Get Into Town
PortBus or cruise shuttle to Ibiza Town: ~5-10 min. From the drop-off it is a short walk up to Dalt Vila and the marina.
Main Attractions
Dalt Vila's UNESCO old town and easy beaches. The cultural climb and the sand both fit a day call; the clubs mostly do not.
How Much Time You Need
Half a day covers the old town; a full day adds a beach. Dalt Vila is the must-do and needs only a few hours.
Keep in Mind
The famous clubs open at midnight and run to 6am. On a normal day call you will miss them, so only an overnight makes clubbing realistic.
Safety & Comfort
Safe and touristy, with summer-crowd caution. Ibiza is easy by day; the main risk is losing your valuables in party crowds.

Beautiful old town but nobody warned us about that climb in August. My wife and I are in our late 60s and we were dripping by the time we reached the cathedral. Go early, take the shady side, and stop for a cold drink halfway up.
Came to Ibiza thinking we would finally see a club and the ship left at 6pm. Nothing even opens til midnight. Total rookie error. We did the old town instead which was honestly gorgeous, but manage your expectations if you are only here for the day.
overnight in port so we actually got to do ibiza properly. beach and a pool party at ushuaia in the afternoon, then dinner in the old town. one of the best days of the trip tbh
Took the 10am ferry to Formentera, 38 euros return, water like glass. Grabbed sunbeds at Ses Illetes, ferry back at 4. Cut it a bit fine getting back to the ship but the beach was worth it.
