We took a taxi, 50 euros for the car, driver waited an hour and a half while we did the museum and ruins. Back at the ship with loads of time. Would not have risked the minibus.
honestly just did the waterfront. the horse from the movie is right there, had a tea, watched the ferries cross. easy relaxed day
Troy in July was brutally hot and the ground is rough. Loved the museum, air conditioned and fascinating, but I had to sit out half the ruins. Bring water and a hat.
Tried to do it cheap on the dolmus and the return didn’t line up with our timing. Ended up paying a taxi back anyway, in a rush and stressed. Just take the taxi from the start.
