How to Get Into Town
From Port Rashid, taxi or Careem to Union Station metro hub: about AED 20-30, 10-15 min. From Dubai Harbour, metro options differ; taxi or Careem to a main line station is the fastest route.
Main Attractions
The Burj Khalifa observation deck, Al Fahidi Heritage District, and the Gold and Spice Souks are the three landmark choices. The souks and Al Fahidi are 5-10 minutes apart by foot; the Burj Khalifa is 20-25 min by metro.
How Much Time You Need
9-10 hours allows a comfortable Dubai Day. Old Dubai and the Burj Khalifa together take at least 6-7 hours including transit.
